Farm House for Rent in Lahore Per Day: Prices, Booking Terms and Checks

Farm houses around Lahore are popular for birthdays, family gatherings, mehndi and baraat functions, corporate retreats and weekend breaks. Most are booked by the slot or by the day, not by the month, and the terms differ a lot from a normal tenancy. This guide explains how bookings usually work, what prices in listings look like, and what to agree in writing.

How farm house bookings work

• Short slot: a set number of hours, for example 6 hours, often during the day or evening.
• Full day: 24 hours from a check-in time to the same time the next day, sometimes with an overnight stay.
• Longer stays: some owners accept weekend or weekly bookings. Monthly farm house rentals were not listed in the results we read.

Example prices from listings (October 2026)

These come from single listings on property portals. They are examples, not a price list, and prices change with the season, the day of the week and the size of the event.

• A 12 kanal farm house in the Wagha Town and Eastern Housing area was advertised per day at about PKR 20,000.
• A Barki Road farm house with a swimming pool was listed at about PKR 15,000 for a 6-hour booking.
• A 10 kanal farm house on Bedian Road was listed at about PKR 15,000 for 6 hours, with 24-hour bookings said to start from about PKR 40,000 and go up to PKR 90,000.
• A 2 kanal farm house in Bagrian was listed per day at about PKR 60,000, though that listing was several years old.

Farm houses are also listed in DHA Phases 6 and 7 for daily rent. Ask whether the price is for the property alone or includes extras such as tables, chairs, lighting, a cook or a generator. Always ask what the price is for a group your size.

Listings and searches commonly name Bedian Road, Barki Road, Wagha Town and Eastern Housing, Bagrian and farm houses inside DHA. Travel time matters for guests and caterers, so check the route in the evening.

What to agree before you pay

1. Date, check-in and check-out times. Write the exact hours. Ask what happens if your function runs late.
2. Number of guests. Ask for the maximum and what happens if more arrive.
3. Price and what it includes. Furniture, kitchen, crockery, power, a generator, water, cleaning and staff.
4. Extras and their rates. Extra hours, extra guests, a cook, tents, sound system and parking.
5. Deposit. How much, what it covers, and when it is returned. Ask how damage is assessed.
6. Rules. Music and noise limits, fireworks, decorations, outside caterers, smoking, and any limit on events.
7. Pool and safety. Whether the pool is open, who supervises it, and the rules for children.
8. Cancellation and refund. What you get back if you cancel or the owner cancels, and how many days before.

How to pay safely

• Property portals advise that you should not make any payment before the property has been verified, and that prices far below the market can signal a scam. Take that seriously for farm houses, which are often booked by phone.
• Visit the farm house first, or send someone you trust. Photos in an advert can be old or from another property.
• Confirm that the person taking money is the owner or has written authority.
• Pay a small booking amount to a bank account in the owner's name, not to a personal wallet of a stranger, and keep proof.
• Pay the balance when you arrive and the place matches the photos.

A booking is not the same as a tenancy

A one-day or six-hour booking is a hire of the place for an event. It is not the same as a long tenancy with a rent agreement. Still, write down what you agreed. A short signed note or a clear message thread with the date, hours, price, deposit and rules will help if there is a dispute about damage or refunds. For longer stays, use a proper agreement. Checklist on the day

• Walk through with the caretaker and take dated photos or a video of the rooms, lawn, pool and furniture.
• Check that electricity, water, gas and the generator work.
• Note anything already broken, in writing, and have the caretaker confirm it.
• At the end, do the walk-through again before you hand back the keys, and ask for the deposit refund in writing.
